Communion Walk @ Fremont Peak Park

Throughout the month of July, COTA is holding walks and meet-ups (not holding services in the Fremont Abbey).

We'll gather outside at the Fremont Abbey at 4pm for a meditative walk with readings to Fremont Peak Park culminating in the Eucharist served outdoors. Wine and juice will be offered as well as our customary vegan, gluten-free bread or rice cracker. All are welcome to join us!

For those attending online, the service will be streamed on Zoom and a take-home liturgy is available.

Land Acknowledgment

We acknowledge that we gather on the ancestral unceded land of the Duwamish people past and present and the shared waters of the Coast Salish tribes. We honor with gratitude the land itself and the Duwamish Tribe and strive to nurture our relationship with our indigenous neighbors and care for the land.
