Theology Pub

Drinks, Community, and Discussion - Theology Pub talks about pretty much everything and anything you could possibly think of in regards to the church, and we always love to include more opinions. We meet at the Blue Star Pub in Wallingford (4512 Stone Way) every first and third Tuesday at 6:30pm to discuss a new topic.

Liturgy Guild

Liturgy Guild envisions, plans, and curates worship services based on the liturgical day or season. We welcome and encourage all to partipate - no specific knowledge or experience is required. At our first gathering we look at the scripture texts and listen together for a theme. At our second gathering we build on that theme by crafting a unique liturgy for the community. We believe in all ideas having a welcome seat at the table. Liturgy Guild meetings occur seasonally, typically on Wednesday evenings over Zoom.

COMMUNITY ARCHITECTS

If you are interested in helping plan and shape community-building activities at COTA, this is a great place to get plugged in. Community Architects plan retreats, coordinate meals after worship, referee pie-baking contests, and provide other community-enhancing program offerings throughout the year.

Community Space
Church Small Groups

Community Spaces are small groups of 5-10 COTAns who meet to draw the COTA community together in more intentional and intimate ways, typically gathering every week for 3-month periods. Groups are often formed around specific themes or books, and have rotating leadership and hosting. They are open to anyone who wants to commit for a season and are a great way to connect with others.
